Patents

Anyone who has striven to develop new products and processes deserves to reap the rewards of their creativity. Patents can allow this to happen by confirming your right in and to your invention.
Patents allow you to register your ownership, protecting your ideas and acquiring you certain rights that prevent your competition from using your invention. Without patents competitors can profit from your ingenuity.
We have the knowledge and expertise to advise you in every aspect of the patent procedure from beginning to end. In addition we have excellent contacts with patent agents and we can assist you in applying for patents, from discussing the initial concept through to the final award.
The process can be complex but we will smooth the way for you. Once a patent has been awarded to you we can help with its exploitation, for example through licensing. Licensing enables other companies or agencies to assist in the development, manufacture, distribution or sale of a patented invention while maintaining the integrity of owner’s (your) rights.
We can also manage the process of patent assignation if a holder (you) wishes to sell their ownership of a patent and/or the rights in and to their (your) invention.
Patents can create ownership issues, for instance over entitlements to joint inventions. We are experienced in dealing with all patent disputes, infringements and enforcements. Whatever your patent issue, we are here to defend your rights.
