Peter Smith
Peter is a partner in our Commercial Real Estate department.
He advises on all aspects of commercial real estate including property aspects of commercial acquisitions, portfolio acquisitions and sales, development work, site assembly, secured lending and landlord and tenant.
Peter has been involved in the acquisition of property and rights for large scale transport projects. He has also acted for clients operating in the medical, dental and pharmaceutical markets.
Peter is an occasional tutor on the Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh and also assists in running the Commercial Leasing elective as part of the university’s Professional Competence Course.
He regularly contributes articles to the press and property industry publications including Estates Gazette and Green’s Property Law Bulletin.
Peter is also a notary public.
