Our annual Christmas charity donations will be allocated to the following charities:

The Teapot Trust is a charity which was set up by Laura Young following the death of her little girl Verity from cancer in 2009.  The charity works to support terminally ill children at the Edinburgh Sick Kids and also in Hospices. www.teapot-trust.org

The Sandpiper Trust aims to provide Scotland’s doctors and nurses, who have been highly trained in accident and emergency skills by BASICS (The British Association of Immediate Care Scotland), with appropriate emergency medical equipment known as the “Sandpiper Bag”. The work of this charity is particularly important and relevant to the more rural areas of Scotland.  http://www.sandpipertrust.org/

500 Miles was set up by Olivia Giles. The aim of 500 Miles is to support amputees and other disabled people in Malawi and Zambia in Africa. Their particular focus is the delivery and development of prosthetic and orthotic services. Prostheses are devices which replace body parts which are missing. Orthoses are supports for body parts which don't function properly.
