Jessie Craig
Jessie is a chartered accountant and heads up our Accounting and Business support team within Private Client services.
Jessie deals with the preparation of accounts and advice on systems set-up for small and medium size businesses, trusts, and charities. For business clients she is involved in raising finance, business management decisions and the production of budgets and cash flows. Jessie is also experienced in the preparation of accounts for offshore entities.
Jessie advises on VAT registration, completion of VAT returns (including partial exemption) and complex VAT transactions in particular in respect of property.
Jessie has managed the successful implementation of new computerised accounts systems for two retail clients. She has practical experience of the production of limited company accounts, charity accounts and presenting these for audit. She is also skilled in analysis and presentation of financial information to directors and trustees for management purposes.
Jessie has a wealth of experience in these areas after spending four years as group finance director of a retail motor business in central Scotland and then three years as the financial controller of a property developer, covering all aspects of these businesses including marketing, accounting, personnel and strategy.
