Andrew Foyle


Andrew is a senior associate in our Dispute Resolution department’s Banking Litigation team, having joined the firm as a trainee in 2001.
He deals primarily with a Sheriff Court and Court of Session commercial litigation case load, involving banking law, insolvency, fraud, professional negligence and contractual claims. His clients are primarily large financial institutions and insolvency practitioners.
As part of this role, he gives regular training and updates to clients on legal issues impacting the financial and insolvency sectors.
Andrew also oversees the recoveries function within the Banking Litigation team, which is a large team servicing a number of clients within the financial sector.
Prior to joining us, Andrew worked as a legal assistant at the Scottish Law Commission, researching the law relating to diligence.
In addition to his LLB from Glasgow University, Andrew holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from Trinity College Dublin.
